The footage shows a man (probably a paramilitary guard) sleeping on the floor in the conductor’s compartment with the door open. The witness told Varta1 that he called the police, and the security guards were allegedly removed from the train to Strya.
“Ukrzaliznytsia” reported that they would “immediately” fire the security workers. The company is conducting an official investigation of this incident, and the employees have been sent for examination.
“Ukrzaliznytsia apologizes and emphasizes that such behavior is unacceptable for any employee of the industry. All those involved will be held accountable,” the statement said.
