On the night of September 16, the final match at the WTA 500 hard tournament took place in Guadalajara (Mexico).

In the decisive match, the trophy was drawn Magdalena Frankh (Poland, WTA 43) and Olivia Hadecki (Australia, WTA 152). The Pole won in two sets in 1 hour and 58 minutes.

For the first time in her career, French won a trophy at the WTA level. She became the fourth representative of Poland, after Iga Swiontek, Agnieszka Radwanska and Magda Linett, who managed to win the title on the Women’s Professional Tour.

Magdalena rose to the 32nd position in the world ranking, which is her personal record.

We will remind that Ukrainian Angelina Kalinin also took part on the courts of Guadalajara. She was already eliminated in the 1st round, losing to Renata Sarasua.
