As spring approaches, Ukraine is set to experience a period of warm, dry, and sunny weather over the coming days. According to meteorologist Natalka Didenko, Thursday, March 26, is expected to be the warmest day, with temperatures ranging from 12 to 18 degrees Celsius.
Didenko advises, “The best day of the upcoming week is expected to be Thursday, with temperatures reaching between +12 and +18 degrees! Take a day off!” This forecast suggests a significant shift towards milder temperatures, particularly in the southern regions where highs may reach 16 degrees Celsius.
On Monday, March 23, most areas will also enjoy dry and warm conditions, with daytime temperatures between 10 and 14 degrees Celsius. The southeastern parts of the country may see temperatures rise to 16 degrees, while the northeastern regions will be cooler, ranging from 8 to 12 degrees.
Winds are expected to be moderate, coming from the east. However, Didenko cautions that warmer clothing will still be necessary during the nights, which are predicted to be quite cool, with temperatures fluctuating between 3 degrees below zero and 4 degrees above zero.
In the capital city, Kyiv, March 23 will bring pleasant spring weather, with no precipitation expected and maximum temperatures reaching around 10 degrees Celsius.
Upcoming Weather Trends in Ukraine
Meteorologist Vitaliy Postryhan forecasts that from March 24, southern cyclones will become active, potentially bringing precipitation in various forms, including wet snow. This shift indicates that while warmer temperatures are on the horizon, fluctuations in weather conditions may also occur.
Didenko has indicated that noticeable warming will begin on March 23, marking a transition into a more spring-like climate.
