On March 1st, residents of Kyiv can expect mild weather with temperatures reaching up to 6 degrees Celsius during the day. The Ukrainian Hydro-Meteorological Center has reported that the day will feature variable cloudiness without precipitation.
During the night and early morning, areas in and around Kyiv may experience fog. The weather forecast warns of icy conditions on the roads, with winds from various directions blowing at speeds of 3 to 8 meters per second.
In the Kyiv region, nighttime temperatures are anticipated to drop to between -1 and -5 degrees Celsius. By daytime, temperatures will rise to between 2 and 7 degrees Celsius. Specifically, in Kyiv, nighttime temperatures are expected to range from -1 to -3 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs will reach between 4 and 6 degrees Celsius.

According to previous reports by Natalia Ptukha, a meteorologist at the Ukrainian Hydro-Meteorological Center, the transition from February to March will be relatively smooth. The average monthly temperature for March is projected to be between 1 and 7 degrees Celsius, with monthly precipitation expected to range from 30 to 53 millimeters. In mountainous areas of Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Zakarpattia regions, as well as in the Crimean mountains, precipitation levels may reach between 60 and 98 millimeters.
The Hydro-Meteorological Center has also indicated that from February 28 through March 2, the weather across Ukraine will remain calm and dry, with nighttime temperatures dipping slightly below zero. Cooler temperatures are expected in the eastern regions and the Carpathians, while daytime temperatures will be slightly warmer. The warmest conditions are anticipated in the western and southern parts of the country.
