Scheduled Power Outages Across Ukraine on March 20 Due to Energy System Strain

On March 20, Ukraine will implement scheduled power outages from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM across all regions. This decision has been made in response to the impact of recent Russian missile and drone attacks on the country’s energy infrastructure.

The national energy company, Ukrenergo, announced that industrial consumers will also face power restrictions from 8:00 AM to midnight. The company emphasized that the situation may evolve, urging citizens to check official resources for the latest updates on outages in their respective areas.

Ukrenergo has called on the public to conserve electricity whenever it is available according to the outage schedules. Specific details regarding the power cuts have been released for various regions.

Serhiy Kovalenko, CEO of Yasno, previously predicted improvements in the energy situation by April, following the end of the heating season and increased generation from hydro and solar power plants.

Ukraine will implement power outages on March 20 due to damage from recent Russian attacks on its energy system. Schedules for various regions have been released, advising citizens to check local resources for updates.
