Cold Weather Expected in Kyiv and Across Ukraine on March 17

As temperatures drop, Kyiv residents can expect a chilly day on March 17, with highs not surpassing 9°C. The forecast indicates dry conditions accompanied by some cloud cover.

Overnight temperatures will fall to around 0°C to 1°C, while daytime highs will struggle to reach double digits. Winds are expected to blow at speeds of 5 to 10 m/s, and atmospheric pressure will rise to between 751 and 754 mmHg.

In other parts of Ukraine, weather conditions will vary. In Lviv, the temperature will range from -1°C at night to 12°C during the day, with partly cloudy skies. Similar conditions are predicted for Lutsk and Rivne, where temperatures will also hover around -1°C at night and 12°C during the day.

In Ternopil and Khmelnytskyi, temperatures will mirror those in Lviv, with nighttime lows of -1°C and daytime highs reaching 12°C. Meanwhile, Ivano-Frankivsk will see slightly cooler temperatures, with a daytime high of 11°C.

Uzhhorod is set to experience a mix of clouds and light rain, with temperatures ranging from 0°C at night to 13°C during the day. In Chernivtsi, the forecast predicts a low of -2°C and a high of 12°C under partly cloudy skies.

Vinnytsia will have temperatures between -1°C and 11°C, while Zhytomyr will see similar conditions with nighttime lows of -1°C and daytime highs of 11°C. In Chernihiv, the temperature will range from -1°C to 7°C, and in Cherkasy, it will be between -1°C and 9°C.

In Kropyvnytskyi, expect a low of 0°C and a high of 11°C, with partly cloudy skies. Poltava will have temperatures ranging from -1°C to 7°C, while Odesa will see a low of 2°C and a high of 12°C.

In Kherson, temperatures will range from 2°C at night to 10°C during the day, and Mykolaiv will experience similar conditions. Zaporizhzhia will see a nighttime low of 1°C and a daytime high of 9°C, with a chance of light rain.

In Sumy, temperatures will drop to -1°C overnight, with a daytime high of 6°C. Kharkiv will also experience a low of -1°C and a high of 6°C, along with light rain.

In Dnipro, expect temperatures to range from 0°C at night to 9°C during the day, accompanied by light rain. Simferopol will have temperatures between 2°C and 10°C under partly cloudy skies, while Kramatorsk and Severodonetsk will experience cloudy conditions with nighttime lows of 3°C and daytime highs of 8°C and 9°C, respectively.

Kyiv and various regions of Ukraine are bracing for a significant drop in temperatures on March 17, with highs not exceeding 12°C in many areas. The forecast includes dry weather, though some regions may experience light rain.
