In addition to the residential damage, one of the shopping centers in the city was also reported to be damaged, with Fedorov later indicating that another shopping center caught fire as a result of the attack. Emergency responders are currently addressing the situation, and Fedorov mentioned that a person is trapped in one of the apartments.
Prior to the attacks, air raid alerts were issued across Kyiv and several regions of Ukraine due to the threat posed by Russian drones and ballistic missiles. Explosions were reported in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia during this period.
