Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived at the 62nd Munich Security Conference, where he is set to engage in a series of bilateral and multilateral meetings aimed at strengthening defense and economic cooperation with international partners.
During his visit, Zelenskyy toured the first joint Ukrainian-German facility dedicated to the production of strike drones for the Ukrainian military. He observed the manufacturing process and witnessed the inaugural flight of a drone produced at the facility.
Additionally, the opening of the Ukrainian House at the conference featured an exhibition titled “Ukraine: On the Frontline of the Future.” This event was attended by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and his German counterpart, Johan Wadephul.
Zelenskyy had previously indicated that his attendance at the Munich Security Conference would depend on the security situation in Ukraine.
This marks Zelenskyy’s first visit to Germany since December 2025, when he led a Ukrainian delegation in two days of discussions with U.S. representatives regarding a proposed peace plan to conclude the ongoing conflict with Russia.
The Munich Security Conference, held annually in Bavaria since 1963, is scheduled to take place from February 13 to 15 this year.
