Ukrainian military forces have reportedly launched an attack on the Promsynthez factory located in the town of Chapayevsk, in Russia’s Samara region. This facility is known for producing components used in explosive materials, which are integral to the manufacturing of munitions such as bombs and missiles.
According to military sources, the factory has a significant output, producing over 30,000 tons of military-grade explosives annually. The General Staff of Ukraine confirmed that the attack successfully struck the facility, resulting in an explosion within its production area.
This incident follows a series of attacks on Russian industrial sites, including a recent drone strike on one of the largest oil refineries in Russia on March 28. Such operations reflect the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia, as both sides continue to target each other’s military and logistical capabilities.
Ukrainian forces have targeted a Russian explosives factory, confirming significant damage and an explosion at the site. This attack is part of a broader strategy to undermine Russian military production capabilities amidst ongoing conflict.
