Members of the 225th Separate Assault Battalion “Morok” successfully rescued two Ukrainian soldiers who had been captured in the Zaporizhzhia region. The operation, conducted during a recent clearance of a populated area, involved coordinated efforts with adjacent units and the use of FPV drones.
According to reports from the battalion’s press service, the soldiers were taken prisoner during a mission aimed at securing the area. Through effective collaboration and tactical planning, the battalion was able to isolate the enemy forces before neutralizing them.
“The coordinated actions of the units, along with promptness and determination, allowed us to rescue our soldiers and fulfill our mission. This operation once again demonstrates that mutual support and coordination on the battlefield are key to success and the preservation of our comrades’ lives,” the battalion stated.
