On April 12, Ukraine will not implement any restrictions on electricity consumption for residential and industrial users, according to a statement from the national energy company, Ukrenergo.
Despite this, the company has urged citizens to conserve electricity during peak evening hours, specifically from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Since January 14, a state of emergency has been in effect following directives from President Volodymyr Zelensky, aimed at addressing the impacts of Russian attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. On March 14, the president signed a decree to activate a decision by the National Security and Defense Council, which outlines resilience plans for Ukrainian cities and regions in preparation for the winter of 2027.
Ukraine will not impose electricity consumption limits on April 12, while urging citizens to save energy during peak hours. This follows ongoing efforts to bolster the country's energy resilience amid challenges posed by external threats.
