U.S. and Israel Conduct Military Operations Against Iran Amid Rising Tensions

U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that recent military strikes by the United States and Israel resulted in the deaths of 48 Iranian leaders. He made this statement during an interview with Fox News host Jacqueline Heinrich.

Trump indicated that the situation is progressing rapidly, stating, “The situation is moving forward. It has been for 47 years. No one can believe our success; 48 leaders were killed in one strike. And it is moving quickly.” In a separate interview with CNBC, he described the operation as going “very well” and ahead of schedule.

He characterized the Iranian regime as one of the most brutal in history, asserting that the U.S. operation is not only for American interests but also for global security. Trump emphasized that if the U.S. had not initiated the operation, Iran could have developed nuclear weapons within two weeks.

Addressing concerns about a potential rise in oil prices due to the conflict, Trump stated that he is unconcerned and is focused on doing what he believes is right.

Military Operations Against Iran

On February 28, Israel launched an attack on Tehran, the Iranian capital. Following this, Trump announced that U.S. forces had begun a “major combat operation” aimed at eliminating imminent threats from the Iranian regime. He accused the Iranian government of financing and training militants in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Hamas in Palestine. The stated goals of the military operation include dismantling Iran’s missile industry and naval capabilities, as well as preventing global destabilization.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has reported launching missiles and drones toward Israel and attacking U.S. military bases in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.

In response to the escalating military actions, French President Emmanuel Macron has called for an urgent meeting of the United Nations Security Council. The European Union has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring regional security and stability in the Middle East.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the events, suggesting that it is fair to give Iranians a chance to rid themselves of a “terrorist regime” and ensure security for all nations affected by attacks from Iran.

On February 28, Trump announced the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, a claim later confirmed by the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA). On March 1, the IRGC declared the initiation of “the most destructive offensive operation in the history of the Islamic Republic” against Israel and U.S. military bases. Trump has warned the Iranian regime to abandon these plans, threatening a “very strong strike” in response.

The recent military operations by the U.S. and Israel against Iran have escalated tensions in the region, with claims of significant casualties among Iranian leadership. Global leaders are responding with calls for security discussions amid fears of further destabilization.
