Trolleybus services in Kherson have been suspended due to damage inflicted by a Russian attack on the night of April 8. The city’s administration confirmed the disruption, highlighting that the contact network was affected.
Yaroslav Shanko, the head of the city administration, shared the news via Telegram, stating, “Trolleybuses are temporarily out of service. The contact network has been damaged as a result of the Russian strikes.” He emphasized that the duration of the emergency repair work will depend on the extent of the damage and the prevailing security situation.
Shanko advised residents to consider this information when planning their travel using public transport. He assured that updates regarding the resumption of trolleybus operations would be provided as more information becomes available.
