Trilateral Talks on Ukraine Conflict Scheduled Amid Ongoing Tensions

A new round of trilateral negotiations involving Ukraine, the United States, and Russia is set to take place in Geneva, Switzerland, on February 17, 2026. This development comes as Ukraine marks the 1,471st day of resistance against Russia’s large-scale invasion.

Currently, no specific date or location has been confirmed for the upcoming talks. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed that Ukraine is prepared to assist its partners in stabilizing the situation in the Middle East, highlighting that Ukrainian military forces possess the necessary capabilities. He noted that teams from Ukraine are already coordinating efforts on the ground.

In related news, Andrei Proshunin, the mayor of Sochi, reported the successful repulsion of a drone attack. Meanwhile, Roman Busargin, the governor of the Saratov region in Russia, mentioned that drone strikes have caused damage to civilian infrastructure, resulting in injuries to three individuals.

The Ukrainian Air Force has also issued warnings regarding drone threats to Kryvyi Rih and Kamianske in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The upcoming trilateral talks in Geneva reflect ongoing diplomatic efforts amid the prolonged conflict in Ukraine. As military tensions continue, local authorities report incidents involving drone attacks in Russia, further complicating the situation.
