Russian Missile Strike Damages Homes and Infrastructure in Vinnytsia Region

A missile strike in the Vinnytsia region of Ukraine on the night of February 26 resulted in damage to approximately 40 residential buildings and energy infrastructure. One woman sustained injuries and is currently receiving medical assistance, according to regional officials.

Nataliya Zabolotna, head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, reported that the attack involved five cruise missiles and 18 drones. She stated, “Unfortunately, as a result of this attack, we have significant damage to nearly 40 residential buildings.”

In addition to the residential damage, the strike also affected energy facilities; however, Zabolotna confirmed that there have been no power outages in the region. Scheduled power cuts remain in effect, with a rotation of 2.5 cycles.

Prior to this incident, Russia launched an assault using two Zircon anti-ship missiles, ballistic missiles, and combat drones. Ukrainian air defense systems successfully intercepted 406 out of 459 enemy aerial targets during this operation. The strikes resulted in the impact of five ballistic missiles and 46 combat drones across 32 locations, with debris from intercepted missiles falling in 15 areas.

A missile attack in Ukraine's Vinnytsia region caused significant damage to homes and infrastructure, injuring one woman. Despite the destruction, regional officials reported no power outages, though scheduled power cuts continue.
