Russian Drone Strikes Target Vilnyansk, Injuring Two

On the evening of February 26, Russian forces conducted drone strikes on the town of Vilnyansk in the Zaporizhia region of Ukraine, resulting in injuries to two individuals, both of whom were hospitalized in serious condition.

According to Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhia Regional Military Administration, the attacks began around 8:00 PM. Initially, reports indicated that one man had been injured, but it was later confirmed that a 17-year-old boy was also among the casualties.

Both victims were transported to a local hospital where medical staff are providing necessary care. The drone strikes also caused damage to several private homes in the area.

This incident follows a prior attack on February 25, when Russian troops targeted the frontline town of Orikhiv in the same region, resulting in the death of a 61-year-old man. The fate of another individual from that attack remains unknown.

Recent drone strikes by Russian forces in Vilnyansk have left two individuals injured and hospitalized. This incident underscores ongoing hostilities in the Zaporizhia region, following a previous attack in Orikhiv that resulted in one fatality.
