On the morning of February 17, Russian forces initiated a large-scale missile attack targeting various regions of Ukraine, prompting air raid alerts nationwide.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the detection of fast-moving targets in the Sumy region, heading towards Poltava. Additionally, missile activity has been recorded in the vicinity of Kremenchuk.
Missiles were also observed approaching Mykolaiv from temporarily occupied territories in Kherson, following a northwestern trajectory. Other missile groups are advancing from Sumy through Chernihiv towards Kyiv.
Another set of missiles is reportedly approaching Odesa from over the Black Sea.
Prior to this, air raid alerts had been issued in several Ukrainian regions during the night of February 17 due to an attack involving Russian strike drones.
