On April 7, Ukrainian forces engaged in 128 combat encounters along various frontlines, according to a report from the General Staff as of 10 PM local time. The most significant clashes occurred in the Kostiantynivka direction, where 26 incidents were recorded, followed by 24 in the Pokrovsk and 23 in the Huliaipole areas.
The report detailed that Russian forces conducted 43 airstrikes, deploying 145 guided bombs. Additionally, they utilized 4,878 kamikaze drones and executed 2,321 shelling attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions.
In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defense forces successfully repelled six Russian assaults. The Southern Slobozhansky sector saw two attempts by Russian troops to storm Ukrainian positions.
In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders thwarted five Russian attacks, while one attempt by the invaders to advance was repelled in the Lyman area. The Sloviansk direction experienced seven unsuccessful assaults by Russian forces.
Ukrainian troops successfully countered 26 enemy attacks in the Kostiantynivka direction. In the Pokrovsk area, Russian forces launched 24 assaults, while in the Oleksandrivka direction, there were ten attempts to improve their tactical positioning.
In the Huliaipole direction, 23 attacks were reported. Additionally, Russian aviation targeted the vicinity of the settlement of Tavriiske in the Orikhiv direction. Ukrainian forces also managed to halt five assault actions towards the Antonivsk Bridge in the Dnipro direction.
