Explosions Rock Poltava, Leaving Two Dead and Several Injured

Poltava experienced a series of explosions late on March 23, with reports confirming at least ten blasts in the area. The Ukrainian Air Force indicated that numerous strike drones were active near the city during this incident.

Local authorities have reported that two individuals lost their lives and seven others sustained injuries as a result of the attacks. Vitaliy Dyakivnych, the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, provided these details.

As of 3:25 AM, air raid alerts were still in effect across the city. The Ukrainian Armed Forces noted that strike drones were targeting the Poltava region.

Damage has been reported to residential buildings and a hotel in the Poltava community, with fires breaking out in the aftermath of the strikes. Emergency services are currently on-site to address the situation, and further information regarding casualties is being gathered.
