Drone Strike Hits Civilian Facility in Kharkiv, Casualties Reported

On the morning of March 11, a drone strike targeted a civilian facility in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv, resulting in fatalities and injuries. The attack was confirmed by Kharkiv’s mayor, Ihor Terekhov.

Reports of explosions in the city began around 8:00 AM, prompting immediate concern among residents. Terekhov indicated that the drone strike specifically hit a civilian enterprise, leading to the deaths of two individuals.

Oleh Synehubov, the head of the regional military administration, noted that the attack sparked a fire at the site. By 9:00 AM, he reported that five people had been hospitalized due to injuries sustained in the strike, with medical personnel providing necessary care.

Among those admitted to the hospital were three women aged 47, 50, and 60, along with two men aged 39 and 49. Preliminary assessments indicated that all victims suffered blast injuries of varying severity, according to Synehubov.

Additionally, two more injured individuals, aged 33 and 36, were reported to have been taken to the hospital shortly after the initial reports.
