The average salary in Ukraine reached 28,321 UAH in February 2026, reflecting a 1.2% increase from January. This data was released by the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
In Kyiv, the average salary was notably higher at 45,651 UAH, while the Kyiv region reported an average of 29,077 UAH. These areas represent the highest wage levels in the country. Conversely, the lowest salaries were observed in Kirovohrad, where the average stood at 20,083 UAH, and in Chernivtsi, with an average of 20,460 UAH.
Examining salaries by sector, employees in the information and telecommunications field received the highest average pay at 78,941 UAH. In contrast, those working in the arts, sports, entertainment, and recreation earned the least, with an average salary of 18,681 UAH.
As of 2026, the minimum wage in Ukraine is set at 8,647 UAH per month.
