According to Steve Witkoff, the meetings focused on narrowing unresolved matters and identifying pathways to achieve tangible outcomes. “Today in Florida, the delegations held constructive negotiations aimed at reducing the scope of outstanding issues and finding ways to reach a comprehensive peace agreement,” Witkoff stated.

The Ukrainian delegation included key figures such as Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council; David Arakhamia, head of the Servant of the People faction; Kyrylo Budanov, head of the President’s Office; and Serhiy Kyslytsia, First Deputy Head of the President’s Office.

Representing the United States were special envoy Steve Witkoff, presidential advisor Jared Kushner, and senior advisors Josh Grunbaum from the White House and Chris Curran from the State Department.

At the conclusion of the first day of meetings, the delegation reported their findings to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
