A new venture in Germany will mark the start of collaborative drone manufacturing with Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelensky is set to announce this initiative today, February 13, as stated by Kamyshin.
Kamyshin mentioned that by the end of the year, Europe aims to establish at least ten joint enterprises dedicated to UAV production. He emphasized that this effort reflects Ukraine’s gratitude towards Europe and Germany for their support, asserting that Ukraine is ready to help Europe regain its strength.
Prior announcements indicated that Ukraine plans to begin exporting drones to European markets, with intentions to establish several representative offices. Zelensky highlighted that the security of the European Union will increasingly rely on Ukrainian drones and technologies.
Germany, in particular, will initiate production of drones like the TYTAN Interceptor, which have been tested in combat situations. Furthermore, France is collaborating with defense firm Turgis Gaillard to produce long-range UAVs for Ukraine, demonstrating a longstanding partnership in drone development.
In addition, a Czech company has been working with volunteers to supply FPV drones to Ukraine, utilizing technology derived from captured Russian UAVs. This collaboration underscores the growing defense capabilities being forged between Ukraine and its European allies.
A joint drone manufacturing initiative between Ukraine and Germany will be launched today, with plans for further collaboration across Europe. This move aims to enhance military capabilities while also bolstering security ties between Ukraine and European nations.
