The Chinese Foreign Ministry has addressed recent claims regarding potential arms supplies to Iran and the transfer of dual-use technologies. During a press briefing, spokesperson Gao Jiakun emphasized Beijing’s cautious approach to military exports.
“China has always maintained a prudent and responsible stance on military exports, implementing strict controls in accordance with its own laws and regulations as well as its international obligations,” he stated.
The ministry also dismissed accusations of supporting Iran, labeling them as unfounded. “We oppose baseless slanders or malicious associations,” the statement added.
This response comes amid reports from Western media suggesting a possible expansion of military cooperation between Beijing and Tehran.
China's Foreign Ministry has firmly rejected allegations of arms supplies to Iran, asserting its commitment to responsible military export practices. The statement follows media reports indicating a potential deepening of military ties between China and Iran.
