The Ukrainian government is poised to appoint a new supervisory board for Naftogaz of Ukraine, according to Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko. This development comes as part of broader efforts to refresh the management structure within key energy sectors.
During a recent press briefing, Svyrydenko indicated that interviews with candidates for the supervisory board positions have been completed. She noted, “The nomination committee is set to identify candidates for government submission for appointment. We expect the supervisory board to be formed next week.”
Furthermore, Svyrydenko confirmed that all independent members have signed contracts and are ready to commence their roles. She emphasized, “The supervisory board will convene next week. The government has tasked us with updating the management structure.”
