On Saturday, April 11, Ukraine will implement hourly power outages across all regions as part of ongoing energy management efforts. In addition, power restrictions will be applied to industrial consumers.
The scheduled outages for residential consumers will take place from 06:00 to 08:00, while industrial consumers will face power limitations from 05:00 to 08:00.
The state energy company, Ukrenergo, indicated that the continuation of these restrictions is a direct consequence of recent extensive attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
“The situation in the energy system may change. For specific times and the extent of outages in your area, please refer to the official pages of your regional energy provider,” the company stated.
Ukrainians are urged to conserve electricity whenever it is available according to the schedule.
It is important to note that hourly power outages for residential consumers and power restrictions for industries are currently in effect around the clock across Ukraine.
In a related development, on the night of April 10, Russian forces launched a significant drone attack on Odesa and its surrounding areas. This assault resulted in damage to infrastructure and power outages, including in the city of Vylkove, often referred to as the “Ukrainian Venice,” which is now without electricity.
Ukraine is set to enforce hourly power outages and restrictions for industrial users due to ongoing energy challenges stemming from Russian attacks. The situation remains fluid, with residents encouraged to monitor updates from local energy providers.
