On Saturday, March 21, all regions of Ukraine will experience hourly power outages as part of ongoing energy management efforts. Additionally, power restrictions will be applied to industrial consumers during this period.
The scheduled outages for residential users will take place from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, coinciding with the power limitation schedules for industrial sectors.
The continuation of these measures is attributed to the aftermath of extensive attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure by Russian forces.
According to a statement, “The situation in the energy system may change. For details on the timing and extent of outages at your address, please check the official pages of your local energy provider.”
“Ukrenergo” has also urged citizens to use electricity sparingly when it is available according to the schedule.
This winter has proven to be the most challenging for Ukrainians since the onset of the full-scale war, with numerous strikes targeting the country’s energy system utilizing a significant number of missiles and drones.
Ukraine is set to implement hourly power outages across all regions starting March 21, as the country continues to grapple with energy supply challenges due to ongoing attacks. Residents are advised to check local energy providers for specific outage details.
