Partial Blackout Affects Kyiv’s Left Bank on March 21

On the evening of March 21, a partial blackout occurred on the left bank of Kyiv, impacting both residential areas and public transportation services.

Reports began circulating around 10:00 PM on local social media platforms, indicating that several households were experiencing power and water outages. The Kyiv City State Administration later confirmed the cause of the incident.

According to the administration, the outages were due to an emergency situation within the electrical grid on the left bank. Energy workers are currently engaged in repairs to restore services.

Simultaneously, the municipal transport authority, Kyivpastrans, announced delays in the operation of several tram and trolleybus routes due to a lack of voltage in the overhead contact system.

The affected tram lines include numbers 8, 22, 27, 28, 29, 32, 33, and 35, while trolleybus services on routes 29, 30, 31, 37, 43, 44, 47, 50, and 50k are also experiencing interruptions.

A partial blackout on Kyiv's left bank on March 21 disrupted power and water supply, affecting numerous households and public transport. Authorities are addressing the electrical issues while transport services face delays.
