Kernel has secured its position as the leading exporter in Ukraine for the year 2025, according to a recent report by RBC-Ukraine, which cites findings from an annual study of commodity exporters.
For the second consecutive year, Kernel has maintained its dominance in two key export categories: grains and sunflower oil. The company ranks first overall in the national exporters’ rating, as reported by Forbes.
Key figures for Kernel’s export performance in 2025 include:
- Export volume: $3.8 billion;
- Share of Ukraine’s total goods export: 9.1% (based on a total export volume of $40.5 billion);
- Contribution to the agricultural export sector: over 16%, which is vital for the country’s foreign currency earnings;
- Kernel accounts for one in every ten dollars earned from goods exports in Ukraine.
The Forbes ranking reflects structural changes in Ukraine’s economy, with the agricultural sector solidifying its role as the primary driver of exports.
Kernel’s consistent performance has been attributed to the development of its logistical infrastructure, operational efficiency, and vertical integration.
“The export figure of $3.8 billion represents a direct contribution to Ukraine’s economic stability and foreign currency balance,” commented Yevhen Osypov, CEO of Kernel.
Kernel has emerged as Ukraine's top exporter for 2025, primarily driven by its success in grain and sunflower oil exports. The company's performance underscores the agricultural sector's critical role in the national economy.
