The Ukrainian Team has provided a significant shipment of energy-intensive generators to the 429th Separate Brigade of Drone Systems, known as “Achilles.” This equipment is crucial for establishing combat positions and ensuring stable energy supply for the defenders.
Oles Maljarevich, the deputy commander of the Achilles Brigade, emphasized the critical need for power sources to effectively operate unmanned aerial vehicles. “Every combat position should be equipped with at least one generator, ideally two. Currently, this is a dream that is coming true thanks to the Ukrainian Team’s volunteer headquarters. Without energy, drones and aircraft cannot operate. Your assistance is always timely and truly important,” he stated.
The Achilles unit has a distinguished combat history, having defended Kyiv and the Kharkiv region while participating in intense battles for Bakhmut and Soledar. The brigade is currently engaged in complex missions in some of the most active combat zones in Eastern Ukraine.
Arthur Palatny, the head of the Ukrainian Team, highlighted that ensuring energy independence for military units is essential for the successful execution of combat tasks. “Energy is one of the key resources on the front lines. I am confident that with our support, the Achilles fighters will always be in communication, and their effectiveness in targeting enemy personnel will be impressive,” Palatny remarked.
Since the onset of the full-scale Russian invasion, the Ukrainian Team has been systematically supporting the military. To date, they have delivered:
- 4,000 drones of various types
- Hundreds of charging stations and generators
- Over 100 vehicles
The total volume of assistance provided to military and civilian sectors has exceeded 1,845 tons, with an estimated value approaching half a billion hryvnias.
