Ukrainian President Zelensky Meets U.S. Secretary of State at Munich Security Conference

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky recently concluded a meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio during the Munich Security Conference, as confirmed by the president’s press secretary on February 14.

Details regarding the discussions held during the meeting are expected to be released later by the press service. As of now, Secretary Rubio has not publicly commented on the encounter.

Prior to his meeting with Rubio, Zelensky indicated plans to engage with U.S. delegates involved in negotiations, including Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of former President Donald Trump.

On the same day, President Zelensky delivered a speech at the Munich Security Conference, which is taking place from February 13 to 15. The conference has attracted numerous European leaders, highlighting its significance as a platform for international dialogue on security issues.

In addition to his meeting with Rubio, Zelensky’s agenda includes discussions with various American senators and a meeting with the President of Azerbaijan, among others. The conference serves as a critical venue for leaders to address pressing global security challenges and foster diplomatic relations.
