Ukrainian Forces Target Russian Oil Infrastructure and Military Supplies

Ukrainian defense forces have executed a significant operation aimed at disrupting Russian oil infrastructure in the Krasnodar region and Crimea, alongside targeting various military supply depots.

According to sources, drones operated by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in collaboration with the Drone Systems Forces (SBS) attacked the Krymskaya linear production dispatch station located in Krasnodar. This facility is part of the Transneft pipeline system, which supplies fuel to tactical aviation bases in Crimea and the Black Sea Fleet in Novorossiysk.

An informed source within the SBU stated, “The SBU is systematically diminishing the enemy’s capabilities in military, economic, and logistical domains. Such operations will continue as long as Russia conducts war against Ukraine.” Following the attack, local authorities reported a fire at the station, and the General Staff confirmed damage to the Gvardeyskoye oil depot in occupied Crimea.

In addition to the oil facilities, Ukrainian forces targeted logistical hubs in occupied territories:

  • Ammunition depots – strikes were recorded in the areas of Makiyivka and Donetsk, as well as in Osypenko, Zaporizhzhia region.
  • Drone control points – fire was directed at locations in Konovalov (Zaporizhzhia) and Holaya Prystan (Kherson region).
  • Troop concentrations – strikes were reported near Stepove, Stepnohirske, Pryazovske, and Rybne.

The General Staff emphasized that these actions aim to reduce the offensive potential of the aggressor. An SBU source noted, “Each strike weakens the resource base of the aggressor and complicates the supply of its troops.”

Ukrainian defense forces have consistently targeted the logistics and energy infrastructure of the enemy. Recently, the General Staff confirmed successful strikes on the Krymskaya oil pumping station, which is critical for sustaining occupying forces.

Ukrainian drones have demonstrated the capability to strike targets over distances exceeding 1,000 kilometers. Notably, two Russian drilling platforms in the Caspian Sea were recently hit, which were utilized by Russia for resource extraction and to bolster its military capacity.

Despite calls from some Western partners to refrain from attacks on Russian energy facilities, Ukraine continues to pursue its operational strategy. According to Andriy Yermak, head of the President’s Office, the defense forces will not cease strikes on Russian oil depots, as these actions directly undermine the aggressor’s ability to conduct warfare.

Ukrainian forces have intensified operations against Russian oil infrastructure and military supply depots, aiming to weaken the enemy's logistical capabilities. Recent strikes have targeted key facilities in Krasnodar and Crimea, reflecting a continued strategy to disrupt Russian military operations.
