The Ukrainian Defense Forces have successfully struck a command post of a Russian division and several logistical facilities, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In their report, military officials detailed the destruction of a fuel storage facility belonging to a motorized rifle regiment near Novoaмvrosiivske and an ammunition depot of a separate motorized rifle brigade in the vicinity of Amvrosiivka, both located in the occupied Donetsk region.
Additionally, the General Staff noted that logistical sites in the occupied part of Kherson were also hit. These included material support warehouses for both a motorized rifle and an engineering sapper regiment near Kalanchak, as well as a fuel storage facility for a separate brigade in the area of Myrne.
On February 27, the Ukrainian forces targeted the command post of the 127th motorized rifle division located near Orlynske, also in the occupied Donetsk region. Strikes were also reported on enemy troop concentrations in Dronivka (Belgorod region of Russia), Rodynske in Donetsk, and the village of Berezove in Dnipropetrovsk.
Due to ongoing combat operations, Radio Free Europe is unable to independently verify these claims. The Russian side has largely refrained from commenting on reported losses.
Since the onset of Russia’s full-scale invasion, various facilities within Russian territory have been subjected to airstrikes. In 2024 and 2025, oil refineries were frequently targeted, alongside Russian installations within Ukraine.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has confirmed many of these attacks, stating that the Defense Forces are systematically implementing measures aimed at reducing the combat capabilities of Russian occupation troops and compelling Russia to cease its armed aggression against Ukraine.
