Ukrainian Forces Target Iranian Drone Launch Sites Near Donetsk Airport

Ukrainian military units have conducted strikes using ATACMS and SCALP missiles against a location associated with the launch of Iranian-made Shahed drones near Donetsk Airport.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the strikes targeted a storage and preparation site for the enemy’s drone operations. The operation was carried out by the Rocket Forces and Artillery of the Ground Forces in coordination with the Air Force.

Following the attack, significant fires and secondary explosions were observed at the site.

Additionally, on the night of March 7, Ukrainian defense forces executed a series of strikes against enemy positions. These included the destruction of a drone command center in the Dibrivka area of the temporarily occupied Luhansk region, as well as a command and observation post in the Kruhlyakivka area of the temporarily occupied Kharkiv region.

Ukrainian forces also targeted artillery positions of the enemy in Tavilzhanka, Voskresenka, and Novopavlivka areas within the temporarily occupied Donetsk region.

Further strikes were reported against enemy concentrations near Novohryhorivka, Zaliznychnyi, Torske, and Sopich.

Ukrainian military operations have intensified with targeted strikes on drone launch sites and command centers, indicating a strategic focus on disrupting enemy capabilities in occupied regions. The recent attacks have resulted in significant damage and operational setbacks for opposing forces.
