Ukrainian military officials have observed signs indicating that Russian forces are preparing for renewed offensive operations in the Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad regions. The situation in this area remains challenging, as tensions continue to escalate.
According to military sources, there are noticeable indications of the enemy’s intent to intensify their assaults, with an increase in airstrikes and other forms of artillery fire. “We are seeing preparations for an escalation, with the enemy amassing reserves for potential offensive actions,” the military stated.
In a report from the Eastern Defense Group, it was revealed that Ukrainian defenders in the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration have successfully eliminated or injured over 1,000 Russian soldiers in the past month. This significant toll highlights the ongoing conflict’s intensity in the region.
Additionally, Ukrainian forces have reported the destruction or damage of various military assets, including:
- 38 artillery pieces and mortars;
- 4 armored vehicles;
- 5 ground robotic complexes;
- 84 units of automotive and motorcycle equipment.
