In the early hours of March 6, Ukrainian drones conducted a series of strikes against military targets in Crimea, specifically aimed at Russian forces. The attacks reportedly affected a military aircraft repair plant and air defense positions near the town of Dzhankoy.
According to sources, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) initiated its spring offensive against Russian military sites in Crimea. The drones successfully hit production facilities at the Evpatoria Aircraft Repair Plant, as well as military equipment and personnel positions in Pushkine, close to the Dzhankoy airfield.
Preliminary reports indicate that the following were damaged:
- Two Pantsir-S2 surface-to-air missile and gun systems.
- A Mohajer-6 drone on the airfield.
- A ZU-23 anti-aircraft gun mounted on a truck.
- Two fuel tankers.
- A ground control station for the Forpost drone.
The SBU emphasized that these systematic operations in Crimea aim to weaken the military infrastructure utilized by Russia for its attacks on Ukraine. An informed source within the SBU stated, “The enemy will not be able to feel secure—especially on Ukrainian territory in Crimea.”
Ukrainian drones targeted key military sites in Crimea on March 6, striking an aircraft repair plant and air defense systems. This operation is part of a broader strategy by Ukraine to undermine Russian military capabilities in the region.
