Ukrainian Defense Forces Target Key Russian Military Assets

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have successfully struck several significant military targets, including a launch system of the S-300VM air defense missile complex, as part of ongoing operations to diminish the offensive capabilities of Russian forces. These actions were reported to have occurred both within Russian territory and in temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine.

During the night, the Defense Forces targeted:

  • a drone unit concentration area near Trudovoye in the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region;
  • a drone workshop in Tokmak, also located in the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region;
  • a communications hub near Staromlynivka in the temporarily occupied Donetsk region;
  • concentrations of Russian military equipment in Donetsk city.

Additionally, on February 17, a launch system of the S-300VM air defense complex was hit in the vicinity of Mariupol. The Defense Forces also engaged drone control points in Salny, Kursk Oblast, Russia, and in the area of Rodynske in the temporarily occupied Donetsk region.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that efforts are currently underway to assess the extent of losses and damage inflicted on Russian occupying forces.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have intensified their operations against Russian military assets, targeting critical infrastructure in occupied territories and within Russia. These strikes aim to weaken the operational capabilities of Russian forces amid ongoing conflict.
