In the early hours of March 29, Ukraine was targeted by a significant assault involving a Kinzhal ballistic missile and 442 strike drones launched from multiple locations in Russia.

The attack, which spanned from the evening into the morning, included the Kinzhal missile, reportedly fired from the Ryazan region, along with various types of drones such as Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas. The drones were launched from several directions, including Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and from Crimea.

Approximately 300 of the drones deployed were identified as Shahed models. Ukrainian air defense forces engaged the incoming threats using aircraft, anti-aircraft missile systems, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups.

As of 9:00 AM, preliminary reports indicated that Ukrainian forces had successfully intercepted or neutralized around 380 enemy drones. The attack resulted in 16 drones striking seven locations, with debris from downed drones landing in 14 different areas.

The Ukrainian Air Forces issued a warning, stating, “The attack is ongoing, and several enemy drones remain in the airspace. Please adhere to safety protocols!”
