On the morning of March 13, Russian forces launched an attack on a passenger bus traveling from Kharkiv to Velykyi Burluk, resulting in fatalities and injuries.
The incident occurred around 9:15 AM near the village of Nova Oleksandrivka in the Velykyi Burluk community, where a drone strike, reportedly using a “Lancet” model, struck the bus. According to local authorities, one individual was killed and four others sustained injuries as a result of the attack.
Details surrounding the assault are still being investigated. Meanwhile, the Office of the Prosecutor General indicated that preliminary assessments suggest the strike was carried out using an “Iskander-M” missile.
At the time of the attack, the bus was in proximity to the targeted area. Initial reports confirm that three people died: the bus driver and two passengers. Additionally, four individuals, including three female passengers and a local resident, were injured.
The attack caused significant damage to the bus and also impacted nearby residential homes.
