Early this morning, Russian forces targeted a multi-story residential building in Dnipro, resulting in multiple injuries and significant damage. The attack sparked fires on the upper floors of the structure, prompting emergency response teams to the scene.
According to Valentyn Reznichenko, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, the assault caused extensive destruction, affecting walls, balconies, and windows. “Fires broke out on the top two floors due to the strike,” he reported.
Medical personnel have confirmed that three individuals sustained injuries from the attack. Among them, a 67-year-old woman and a 74-year-old man are in serious condition, suffering from shrapnel wounds, lacerations, and traumatic brain injuries.
This incident follows a larger wave of assaults across Ukraine, as Russian forces launched a massive attack overnight on March 24, employing various types of drones and missiles. The Ukrainian Air Force reported that its air defense units intercepted or suppressed 390 aerial threats, including 25 missiles and 365 drones, by 9:00 AM.
