Russian Forces Ordered to Target Civilians in Donetsk Region

Recent intelligence reports reveal that Russian troops have been instructed to eliminate civilians in the area of Zeleny Hai, located in the Donetsk region of Ukraine.

Ukrainian intelligence has intercepted communications indicating preparations by the occupying forces to clear buildings where civilians are present. A Russian commander explicitly directed his subordinates to ensure no one survives.

“One unit is preparing to clear a building with civilians—everyone must be eliminated. This building is large,” stated the soldier in the intercepted recording.

Analysts from Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) have identified the military unit responsible for this order, revealing it to be a squad of former prisoners known as ‘Storm,’ part of the 57th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of Russia.

The intelligence agency emphasized that such actions are further evidence of the systematic targeting of Ukrainians in occupied territories. They reiterated that the intercepted communications confirm the ongoing nature of war crimes committed by Russian forces against the civilian population.

Furthermore, the HUR stated that all individuals involved in these war crimes will be identified, and there will be “just retribution” for every act of violence against the Ukrainian people.
