As of now, information regarding casualties is still being verified. An air raid alert remains in effect in the city, and residents are urged to remain in shelters until official notifications are issued. Operational services are actively working at the sites of the incidents.
This attack on Odesa follows earlier assaults on February 12 against other critical infrastructure, with a reported strike on a thermal power plant belonging to DTEK, causing significant damage. According to DTEK, this incident represents the eleventh mass attack on its thermal plants since October 2025, highlighting a systematic approach to targeting energy infrastructure.
The events of February 12 also included a large-scale combined assault across Ukraine, employing ballistic missiles and drone strikes over various regions, particularly affecting Kyiv, Dnipro, and Odesa. Authorities reported a total of 24 ballistic missiles and 219 drones were used during this operation.
