Kyiv Mayor Provides 1,925 Drones to Territorial Defense Brigade

The Kyiv community continues its extensive support for Ukrainian defenders. Mayor Vitali Klitschko has delivered nearly 2,000 drones and advanced equipment to the 112th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade.

According to the mayor, the brigade received a total of 1,925 drones.

The drones are designed for a variety of combat tasks:

  • 1,250 strike FPV drones for precise targeting of enemy equipment and personnel
  • 450 daytime Mavic drones for reconnaissance and fire adjustment
  • 180 interceptor drones to combat enemy UAVs in the air
  • 35 heavy bombers for delivering powerful strikes behind enemy lines
  • 10 reconnaissance aircraft for in-depth monitoring of the front.

In addition to aerial support, the defenders received 15 ground control stations for interceptor drones, enhancing their ability to coordinate air defense effectively.

Funding and support for the brigade have also been significant. Klitschko announced that since the beginning of 2026, the Kyiv budget has allocated 100 million UAH for equipping the 112th Brigade.

“We continue to support all our military personnel, constantly seeking any means to do so,” the mayor emphasized.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has provided the 112th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade with 1,925 drones and advanced equipment. This initiative is part of ongoing financial support, with 100 million UAH allocated since early 2026 to enhance the brigade's capabilities.
