Explosions Rock Poltava Amid Suspected Drone Attacks

On the evening of February 25, a series of loud explosions were reported in Poltava, Ukraine, as Russian forces appeared to target the city with drone strikes.

According to local reports, the first explosion was noted at 11:29 PM, with subsequent blasts heard in the surrounding Poltava community and later within the city itself.

Local authorities confirmed that air defense systems were active in the region, and the Ukrainian Air Force had detected drones in the vicinity of Dykanka shortly before the explosions occurred.

Monitoring channels indicated a potential mass drone attack that night, as numerous drone launches were recorded. However, the veracity of this information remains unverified.

As of 11:47 PM, air raid alerts were active across several regions, including Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk.

Poltava experienced multiple explosions late on February 25, attributed to suspected drone attacks by Russian forces. Air defense systems were engaged as alerts spread across several regions in Ukraine.
