In the early hours of March 6, Russian forces launched drone attacks on Kryvyi Rih, resulting in significant damage to residential buildings and local infrastructure.
The strikes involved the use of Shahed drones, which directly impacted a nine-story apartment building and an infrastructure facility at two separate locations. Emergency services are currently engaged in firefighting and rescue operations.
Local authorities, including the head of the city’s defense council, reported that two assistance centers have been established to support affected residents. These centers are located in:
- Saksahanskyi district at a nearby school;
- Dovhinetskyi district, close to the local executive committee.
Authorities have assured residents that building materials will be provided within 40 minutes and that applications for financial assistance from the city are being processed. Emergency response teams are mobilizing to ensure that no one is left without support.
