In the early hours of March 26, Russian forces launched a drone strike in the southern Odesa region, impacting ports and energy facilities. The attack resulted in fires and power outages across several areas.
According to local officials, the drone assault caused significant damage to port, energy, and industrial infrastructure, leaving one individual injured.
“There are damages at various enterprises, with some equipment partially affected. Fires broke out at the sites but were quickly extinguished by emergency services,” reported the regional administration.
As a consequence of the attack, certain communities experienced disruptions in electricity supply. Critical infrastructure has been switched to backup power sources, and restoration efforts are currently underway.
The Izmail District State Administration confirmed that the port and energy infrastructure in the area were directly hit, with damage noted in Izmail and the Vilkivska community.
Meanwhile, the State Emergency Service (SES) released footage showing the aftermath of the assault.

According to the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (AMPU), one of the ports on the Danube was also targeted during the night. The strike resulted in damage to port facilities, including warehouses, docks, and administrative buildings.
Damage was also reported among certain port operators. Fortunately, there were no injuries, and the port continues to operate under security constraints and the current situation.
