The GUR confirmed the liquidation of the Russian colonel involved in the training of “Shaheed” operators

The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine confirmed the liquidation of the Russian colonel Oleksiy Volodymyrovich Kolomeytsev, who was involved in the training of “Shaheed” operators, reports UNN.

On September 27, 2024, in the city of Kolomna, Moscow region of the Russian Federation, the colonel of the Russian occupation army Oleksiy Volodymyrovich Kolomeytsev was killed. 51-year-old Kolomeytsev managed the 924 State Center (military unit 20924) of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for unmanned aviation, which trains specialists in the combat use of unmanned aerial vehicles, in particular “shaheeds”, as well as UAV maintenance personnel

Intelligence added that the occupier is directly involved in the full-scale invasion of Russia and the commission of war crimes against Ukraine.
