The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, had a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Norway, Jonas Har Stere.

This was reported by the Office of the President.

The head of state thanked for yesterday’s decision of the parliament of Norway to increase aid to Ukraine for the next year from 1.4 billion dollars. up to 3.2 billion dollars. and especially noted its unanimous support by all parliamentary forces. Volodymyr Zelenskyy called this a true testimony of the Norwegian people’s unwavering support for Ukraine.

Separately, the President emphasized that part of these funds will go to Ukraine’s own production of drones and other weapons.

The leaders also discussed the priority needs of Ukraine. Against the background of Russian attacks on energy infrastructure, these are generators, other energy equipment and additional air defense equipment.

In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyi thanked for the recent reception of the delegation of Ukraine led by the Minister of Defense Rustem Umyerov and the help in establishing contacts between Ukrainian and Norwegian defense enterprises.

As ArmiyaInform reported, Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed with the French president the urgent strengthening of Ukraine’s air defense, as well as comprehensive defense support and acceleration of the transfer of Mirage aircraft.
