President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Jan Lipavsky during the Third International Summit on Food Security Grain from Ukraine and discussed cooperation between Ukraine and the Czech Republic. This is stated in his message on November 23.
“We are glad that we have good relations at the level of leaders and strong ties between our nations. Thank you for being with us since the beginning of the full scale invasion. There are many initiatives from your side to help Ukraine, including artillery. We are grateful to you for everything,” said the President of Ukraine.
During the meeting, they discussed defense support, progress in the implementation of the artillery projectile supply initiative, and cooperation between Ukraine and the Czech Republic in countering Russian disinformation.
Volodymyr Zelenskyi also noted the active participation of the Czech Republic in the reconstruction of Ukraine, in particular, he thanked for the initiative to increase the funding of the National Program for the Reconstruction of Ukraine after 2025, which is aimed at restoring critical infrastructure.
During the meeting, they also agreed on the next steps for the development of bilateral cooperation, including future contacts at the highest level.
As ArmiyaInform reported, according to the President, Ukraine began negotiations with partners on new air defense systems after the Russian strike with an experimental ballistic missile.
