Zelenskyi: Oil and gas revenues of the Russian Federation are decreasing – losses this year are at least $37 billion

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy listened to the report of the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service Oleg Ivashchenko on the results of pressure on the Russian energy industry and discussed measures to return Ukrainian children.

Zelensky’s direct speech: “There are important results of our joint pressure on Russia with our partners. This year, for the first time since the beginning of the war, a noticeable decrease in the production and processing of Russian oil has been recorded. The oil and gas revenues of the Russian budget are decreasing, and according to the results of this year, Russia will lose at least 37 billion dollars of budgetary oil and gas revenues. And tens of billions of dollars are lost by Russian oil companies and the energy sector in general.”

Details: According to the president, all this limits the Russian military machine. “Both conventional sanctions against Russia and Ukrainian long-range sanctions are working effectively. The directions of our further sanctions pressure have also been determined,” Zelenskyi said.

He also thanked all the partners who inflict quite fair legal strikes on the vessels of the Russian oil fleet – the Russians use fewer tankers.

“And separately today we discussed with the head of the SSR of Ukraine measures to return home Ukrainian children who were abducted by the Russians, as well as other operations abroad,” the president said.
